The press service of Donstroy extended warm wishes for Maslenitsa at the end of February to residents of two large projects in the capital region. The Symbol development in Lefortovo and the Heart of the Capital project on the Shelepikhinskaya embankment joined in the festive mood, marking the celebratory week with a series of community activities.

Organizers noted that the celebratory events took place directly on the grounds of the company’s settlements, with a schedule filled by competitions, entertainment, and generously laid tables featuring a variety of treats. The atmosphere was designed to bring neighbors together, turning the common spaces into lively gathering spots for families and friends.

One highlight was the Shrovetide event named Russian Sports Entertainment hosted at Symbol, a collaborative effort between the SEAD province and the developer Donstroy. Acrobatics, music, and games blended with moments of traditional hospitality, turning the event into a showcase of local culture and community spirit.

According to the organizers, professional artists performed in Green River Park, while creative master classes, traditional Russian games, and sports competitions drew participants of all ages. The day also featured refreshments, with pancakes and tea served to attendees, highlighting the season’s flavors and festive warmth.

As a testament to Symbol’s growing community, Donstroy noted that more than 4,000 flats are already occupied. The development includes essential infrastructure that residents rely on, such as a nearby kindergarten, all within easy walking distance. Plans for a school are progressing, with construction expected to wrap up soon to extend local educational options for families in the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, at Heart of the Capital, the winter farewell was celebrated with the support of the management company SMART. Residents participated in a range of activities, including drawing workshops, matryoshka painting sessions, and paper toy making. Relay races and outdoor games provided lively competition, while pancakes, bagels, and tea from a traditional samovar added a cozy, communal touch to the day.

Donstroy also shared that the Heart of the Capital project is nearing completion. Nine residential buildings are already in operation, with the final tower currently under construction. The district features a Central Park that houses a sports stadium, a dedicated exercise area, and relaxation zones with sun loungers. An event space, along with shops, cafes, and restaurants, creates a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly environment. The area also includes training and fitness studios to support an active lifestyle for residents. A large school with capacity for 500 students and a kindergarten capable of serving 225 children were opened in the Heart of the Capital in the prior year, underscoring the project’s emphasis on comprehensive urban living and community services.
