On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, a versatile space opened at Luzhniki for concert guests called Street We Are Together, reported by First Channel. The setup invites visitors to engage with a public movement and take part in a meaningful shared effort. At the fair, attendees could choose souvenirs handmade by children from newly integrated Russian regions. Organizers emphasized that funds raised would support the restoration of the Donetsk youth center and other community projects.
Many visitors stopped by Good Mail to send letters or postcards to troops on the front lines. Others had the option to volunteer for humanitarian missions and contribute to important initiatives. The Together We movement and representatives of the ONF highlighted the ongoing commitment to assisting those involved in the special operation and their families.
Every act of support matters. People often donate modest sums from their pensions, whether ten, twenty, or another amount. Even small contributions carry immense value, because they entrust warmth, prayers, and hopeful messages from children to reach soldiers and return home safely and soundly, explained Mikhail Kuznetsov, who leads the ONF executive committee.
Earlier reports noted that on February 22 a rally and concert were held at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, with attendance by the Russian President. The president addressed the audience, noting that there is a war within the country and stressing the duty of all Russian people as defenders of the Fatherland. He also referenced feedback from the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces about the current situation and reaffirmed that the nation stands united in support of those protecting the homeland.
