Environment PowerCo’s massive Sagunt project continues to gain momentum with a bold consolidation drive. Beginning next year, Climia Hotels — led by its principal executive — was disclosed in reports by Expansión and later confirmed by others. The venture is allied with a group of local business figures and public officials who will oversee a new hospitality organization. The hotel will sit adjacent to the expansive Volkswagen Group development in Parc Sagunt II, overlooking the Intercore corridor and across from the L’Epicentre shopping center near the Carrefour hypermarket.
The project, previously known as The Coolaborative, is backed by prominent investors including Juan Planes and Vicente Lluch, a former director of Pollos Planes, along with David Silva, a well-known former Valencia CF player who now serves as an advisor to the multi-family office EFE&ENE. Collectively, they plan to commit up to 22 million euros to bring a four-star property to life. The plan envisions a construction footprint of about 9,352 square meters with the first ceremonial stone laid in the near future. Among the key supporters anticipated to attend the event are Planes, Fuster, Nuria Montes, the Sagunt mayor, and other regional figures.
The hotel is slated to open in June 2025, following construction led by Vito Construcciones. The facility will feature 163 guest rooms and 46 suites, complemented by additional living spaces. Guests will be able to enjoy a Mediterranean dining venue, a fitness center, a function hall, a coworking area, and a range of meeting rooms. The Saguntino hotel will also offer a penthouse with a bar and a panoramic pool. The building’s architectural design is attributed to the Valencian studio Perretta Arquitectura, renowned for its landmark France Tower in Valencia.

A robust regional growth dynamic
As highlighted by Fuster in discussions with local media, the Climia Hotels project will align with a strong and expanding industrial cluster in the area. The initiative is expected to support ongoing tourism and business demand that accompanies the growth of business districts such as Parc Sagunt I and Parc Sagunt II. The new hotel is positioned to complement and strengthen the surrounding economy, creating a nexus where hospitality, industry, and commerce converge to attract meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. Visitors will benefit from convenient access to major transport routes and the nearby commercial hubs, while local workers gain additional employment and lodging options as the region scales up its investment activity.
