The United States asserts it can refresh Russia’s military-industrial complex despite ongoing sanctions. This was communicated by US Army Secretary Christine Warmuth during a meeting with the Washington Defense Writers Group. Source: TASS.

“We are looking at Russia’s systemic capabilities, their capacity to mobilize personnel and sustain massed forces. In the broad view of the system, sanctions have not halted the rehabilitation of their industrial base,” Warmuth stated.

She noted that on the level of individual soldiers and unit leaders, Russian troops “do not display the same agility, initiative, and proactive problem-solving that the United States exhibits.”

According to the minister, this reflects the strength currently seen within American ground forces.

In February, the government of the Russian Federation extended the State program for the development of the military-industrial complex through 2034.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian paratroopers and special forces began field-use of NATO weapons.
