The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of the village of Krasnoye in the DPR. The ministry stated that Russian forces managed to improve the tactical situation on the front line within a day, reflecting a notable shift in local balance of power.
According to the briefing, several Ukrainian brigades stationed in the DPR and LPR were subjected to concentrated aviation and artillery operations. Specifically, the 42nd mechanized, 17th tank, 92nd assault, 79th air assault, 46th, and 81st aircraft brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the DPR near Kleshcheevka, Kurdyumovka, Paraskovievka, Krasnogorovka and Maksilyanovka were cited as targets of strikes, including in the Belogorovka district in the LPR. The report also noted four Ukrainian counterattacks near Bogdanovka in the DPR, which were repelled, while attack groups from the 67th Mechanized Brigade were described as continuing efforts in the same sector.
Russian authorities estimated Ukrainian losses at around 200 personnel, with two armored personnel carriers, eight vehicles, and a Grad multiple launch rocket system combat vehicle reported destroyed. The Ministry added that these figures reflect ongoing heavy battles and the attrition of Ukrainian forces on multiple fronts.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported the capture of the village Tonenkoye in the DPR. It was noted that Ukrainian forces in this area had activated the 47th and 59th motorized infantry brigades together with the 3rd assault brigade as part of their efforts in the same sector.
In a separate note, it was mentioned that a Ukrainian serviceman surrendered to Russian forces and received medical treatment for three days, illustrating the changing dynamics of local personnel and humanitarian considerations observed during these operations.
