Russian MoD details strikes on Ukrainian units in Kherson/Nikolaev

The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that airstrike actions by the Russian Aerospace Forces targeted Ukrainian positions in the Kherson and Nikolaev areas, reporting the elimination of nearly 70 nationalists amid ongoing combat operations.

According to the ministry, in Belogorovka, Kherson region, and Pavlovka, Nikolaev region, as many as 70 Ukrainian armed formations and 14 enemy vehicles were destroyed during strikes aimed at the combat positions of the 105th and 106th battalions of the 63rd mechanized brigade within the Ukrainian forces. The ministry framed these actions as a significant setback for Ukrainian operational capabilities in those locales.

The ministry previously described the destruction of more than 100 Ukrainian personnel at the CHPP-3 facility in Kharkiv, as part of reported engagements in that sector.

Earlier statements referred to strikes against a Hyacinth-B gun detachment and an additional 70 units of Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic, underscoring a pattern of reported attrition across multiple fronts.

Additionally, the ministry spokesperson, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, stated that Russian forces targeted an arsenal near Nikolaev containing 45 tons of ammunition supplied by NATO countries to the Ukrainian forces, describing it as a notable disruption to military logistics in the region.
