Russian Defense Ministry Reports Heavy Strikes in DPR; Claims Key Targets Destroyed

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the day the Russian Armed Forces delivered strong blows to two Ukrainian fighters in the DPR, specifically in the Ugledar and Makarovka areas within the Yuzhnodonetsk sector. They described the engagement as a complex fire defeat, with Ukrainian casualties cited at 175 personnel for the day of hostilities. The ministry also stated that four vehicles were destroyed and two artillery pieces, a D-20 and a D-30 howitzer, were eliminated.

In the Urozhaynoye region of the DPR, the ministry claimed Russian troops halted the activities of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group. Earlier, the Russian defense ministry released footage showing the destruction of Ukrainian military equipment by a Ka-52 helicopter in the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, asserting the targeted Ukrainian forces were eliminated by a guided missile strike.
