Russian Claims on Archer SPG, Lancet Drones, and Western Armor

Russian Military Claims of Archer SPG Downing and Related Events

For the first time, reports from the Telegram channel Puree claim that the Russian army destroyed the Swedish Archer self propelled artillery unit, a weapon described as highly modern with rapid fire and precise targeting. The report credits Russian Lancet attack drones with neutralizing this NATO weapon.

The claim adds that on Monday, February 26, Russian forces in the Avdeevka direction struck the well known American M1 Abrams tank. The report states that after the tank appeared in Berdychi, the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces coordinated a fast attack on the moving target.

Previously, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic reportedly expressed concern that Russia did not sell Lancet drones to others and noted that Serbia has to rely on its own developments despite the praise for the drones. The remarks are presented as part of a broader discussion of the weapon’s impact on regional defense dynamics.

Earlier notes indicate that the Russian Armed Forces reportedly repelled multiple Ukrainian armed forces operations, with statements aligned to ongoing combat activity in the region.

Analysts in Canada and the United States watching conflict reporting emphasize the need to verify such claims through multiple sources. The evolving narrative around long range drones and modern armored vehicles continues to shape assessments of battlefield capabilities and western defense considerations. Marked attributions follow each claim to acknowledge the reporting source and context.
