Revised Report on Kohler Case in South Florida

In the United States, a 63-year-old man named Robert Kohler was identified by authorities amid a long-standing investigation. Law enforcement believes he raped multiple women in south Florida, according to NBC 6 South Florida.
The suspect allegedly forced entry into residences, used pillowcases to cover victims’ heads, restrained them, and sexually assaulted them with threats involving a knife. After the assaults, valuables were taken from the homes.
The attacks reportedly occurred during the 1980s, but the suspect was not apprehended until recently. It was disclosed that his son assisted in the arrest by providing a DNA sample from the father, which matched DNA recovered at one of the crime scenes. Kohler was then taken into custody.
In court, only one rape case was acknowledged as connected to Kohler by DNA evidence. This incident is said to have occurred in December 1983 in Miami. The survivor, currently aged 65, testified about the attack.
Earlier reports had mentioned a separate case in Omsk involving a pedophile who assaulted a nine-year-old girl in an abandoned area, but that information is not part of the ongoing U.S. case and is not being presented as connected to Kohler in this context.
