Resort Lift Incident: Child Discharged After Scarf Entanglement

A child at a resort in the Chelyabinsk region was discharged from the hospital after an incident on a ski lift where a scarf became caught in the mechanism. The information was shared by ura.ru, citing Oleg Sirotin, who chairs the board of directors of the resort complex.

Sirotin expressed gratitude to everyone who helped and acted quickly during the event. He noted that the child, who had been hospitalized in serious condition, had been sent home with family members and was reported to be doing well.

The incident occurred when the boy, a visitor from Kurgan, was at the resort with an instructor and approached the ski lift. At a moment, the scarf became entangled in the lift mechanism, temporarily cutting off the child’s access to oxygen.

It was later confirmed that the child had been in a critical state and had fallen into a coma. He has since begun breathing on his own and is on the path to recovery.

In related news, a separate report from St. Petersburg described an unrelated assault in which a 10-year-old boy was attacked with a towel and subjected to abuse. The two events are not connected to each other and occurred at different times and locations (source: ura.ru).
