In the Moscow region, teachers near the capital began receiving rental compensation amounting to 20 thousand rubles per month. To qualify, teachers must meet specific criteria, as explained by Yana Baranova, a teacher at secondary school number 12 in the Balashikha urban district, in a recent interview on the 360 TV channel.
Baranova noted that eligibility includes not owning housing in the Moscow region for the teacher and their immediate family. There is also a designation related to the teacher’s area of specialization. Applicants can submit their requests on the Moscow public services portal, after gathering the required documents. Baranova mentioned that the application review typically takes about two weeks, and the compensation can be paid for up to a year, with the recipient receiving 20 thousand rubles each month.
Previously, Oksana Polyakova, Deputy Director of the Apartment Rental Department at INCOM-Real Estate, commented to socialbites.ca that residents could reduce housing costs by choosing options in more distant parts of the city. She also suggested a second approach to lowering rent: sharing a rental house with others.
Additionally, it was noted that individuals under 35 years old had historically received half of their rent in compensation in earlier programs.
