Prosecutors sought provisional detention without release on bail for three counts of murder in a case involving the death of three brothers from Morata de Tajuña, Madrid. The suspect appeared before a judge in Arganda del Rey, Madrid, on a Wednesday, as reported by the public prosecutor’s office.
Dilawar Hussein FC, a man of Pakistani origin who holds Spanish nationality and is 42 years old, was brought to the Arganda del Rey courts this morning from the Madrid Civil Guard Command headquarters, where he had been held. The suspect had turned himself in at the Civil Guard offices early on Monday. Reports indicate that Ángeles admitted involvement in the deaths of Pepe and Amelia and was arrested on charges of three counts of premeditated murder.
Last Thursday morning, investigators found the bodies of the three brothers. They were burnt and stacked atop one another, showing signs of violent trauma and decomposition at the scene inside their residence.
The Civil Guard’s leading hypothesis is that the killings were driven by a motive related to settling scores. Sources connected to the investigation told journalists that payments were made to address the brothers’ debts, with several acquaintances allegedly involved in these financial dealings.
Meanwhile, two sisters linked to the case were reportedly caught up in a romance scam that left them financially strained. They had repeatedly asked relatives and neighbors for money. Early last year, the suspect is said to have rented a room at the deceased household, reportedly owing him around 60,000 euros.
The suspect ceased living at the victims’ home after a February 24 arrest for assaulting Amelia, striking her head with a hammer at least three times and kicking her as she fell. The ensuing medical treatment lasted several months, with the individual detained in Estremera prison until a release on September 12.
