Alicante-based spare parts distributor PCEX Automotive continues to broaden its footprint across the globe. The company, founded and led by David Santiago, reported turnover surpassing 40 million euros last year, marking a 33% increase. The growth was acknowledged with the International Development award as part of Cepyme’s recognition program honoring small and medium-sized enterprises in Spain.
PCEX Automotive began its journey eleven years ago with a focus on supplying original automotive spare parts to markets with high entry barriers, notably in Africa and the Middle East, where it has built a robust logistics network. Driven by this international strategy, the Alicante firm has extended its presence to additional continents and now operates in 38 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
According to the company, international wholesale distribution of spare parts carries inherent risk. Yet the sustained commitment to a B2B sales platform and other strategic initiatives culminated in a second consecutive Cepyme award. The gala was attended by King Felipe VI. Previously, PCEX had earned the Digital Transformation award, recognizing its notable internationalization effort within its national business network.
Almost all sales come from abroad
“International expansion has been a pivotal strategy for PCEX, contributing nearly exclusive to our annual turnover. This effort relies on a dedicated team skilled in navigating diverse markets and handling the various regulatory and logistical steps required in different regions,” explains David Santiago.
