President Rustam Minnikhanov of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with the winners of the Leaders of Russia competition for managers who are part of the mentoring program. The event took place at the Government House of the republic and was organized by the presidential platform ANO Russia – the Land of Opportunities, the competition’s main organizer, according to its press service.
Among the attendees from Tatarstan were Rafael Valeev, Timerbulat Samerkhanov, and Mikhail Fokin. Valeev serves as a senior general manager focused on technology development at Sberbank in Kazakhstan. Samerkhanov leads the Education Culture organization, while Fokin heads the Data Management Center at Tattelecom PJSC.
The dialogue explored ongoing and planned projects in education development, digital transformation, and efforts to strengthen managerial capabilities in the field of informatics. The participants shared insights into how technology and data-driven strategies can elevate learning outcomes, streamline administrative processes, and widen access to quality education.
Minnikhanov expressed strong backing for the initiatives presented by the winners and committed his support to help move these projects toward practical implementation. He emphasized that advancing education, digitalization, and governance capabilities is vital for Russia’s future trajectory and regional development.
During the exchanges, the leaders also reflected on their experiences in the President’s staff reserve program.
