Project partners include the City Council of Alicante and Mercasa. The first eight months of the year showed a profit of 265,287 euros, marking a 29% increase over the same period last year. In the previous year, the net business figure stood at 1.89 million euros.

From January to August, a total of 191.5 million units of fruit, vegetables, potatoes, meat, and fish were handled within the wholesale market area and the facility’s ancillary activities, establishing Mercalicante as a leading food distributor in the province.
