The Marina d’Or complex is undergoing a major transformation under the ownership of the Magic and Fuertes group. The new leadership aims to position the resort as one of Europe’s leading tourist destinations by attracting international visitors, with a strong emphasis on guests from the United Kingdom. An investment plan totaling 40 million euros is underway to reshape the hotels and introduce new incentives that enrich the guest experience.
Key elements of the upcoming phase involve upgrading water areas. Following the launch of preliminary work, the Magic Group Costa Blanca and Fuertes confirmed that expansion and renewal of water attractions would be a cornerstone of modernizing Marina d’Or. The focus is on creating a refreshed, contemporary resort that delivers high-end leisure and entertainment for families and travelers alike, as stated by the new management.

A new complex comprises three avant-garde water parks with state-of-the-art attractions. Guests will encounter themed water slides, children’s play zones, sports simulators and dedicated poolside areas. The parks will stand out as major draws within Marina d’Or, with integrated bar service inside the water zones.
In total, the water attractions will be divided across three parks spanning about 25,000 square meters. The trio includes Spell Sports Water Park, Magic Splash Adventure and Magic Polynesia.
National and international visitors will discover one of Spain’s finest water attractions within a resort setting that blends thrill with relaxation.
Three parks
Magic Sports Water Park covers roughly 7,000 square meters and features a towering array of sport-inspired slides reminiscent of Formula 1, bobsled and karting courses. The park also includes a large area for family fun with surfer-themed decorative elements and a Swim Bar for drinks while guests relax in water and VIP hammocks.
A standout feature of the Sports Water Park is a modern surf simulator that lets guests experience safe, big-wave action using the latest technology.
Magic Jump Adventure spans about 9,000 square meters and showcases a dramatic tower with a vertical drop slide suitable for up to four riders, along with multi-race elements, a bowl, a kamikaze slide and a pendulum ride. Family attractions include a family boat and convenient catering areas with VIP options.
Magic Polynesia covers more than 10,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space. It offers attractions for all ages, from dizzying slides such as Fast Track, Los Rápidos and Torbellino to gentler experiences like the slow river, a pirate ship, and jumping zones designed for younger children.
An identification mark
The water attractions are set to become a flagship feature of the resort’s new direction. The expansive pool areas and exciting slides symbolize the group’s commitment to adrenaline, entertainment and family-friendly experiences under the sunny Costa Blanca branding. The new managers bring nearly five decades of sector experience to Marina d’Or, reinforcing confidence in the project.
The holiday model is expected to be officially presented at FITUR, with doors planned to open in June 2024. Visitors are promised a tourism experience packed with innovations that will set a benchmark for European holiday resorts.
