The Magical World relaunches Marina d’Or with three themed family hotels

In the Costa Blanca region a new brand is taking over a project led by The Magical Costa Blanca and Strong Group. The renewal aims to modernize and restart the Marina d’Or Holiday complex in Castellón Oropesa. The plan centers on three hotels designed for family guests, each offering distinct experiences tied to a common theme of wonder and play.

New owners have opened pre-reservations for the next phase of the complex. Websites have been launched to support this revival, with a scheduled opening in June of the current year.

The investment comes to forty million euros, enabling the opening of three themed hotels: Magic Sports Hotel, previously known as Grand Duke; Magic Games Hotel, formerly Marina d’Or Playa; and Magic Fantasy Hotel, which has previously served as Marina d’Or on a three star basis.

The logo for Magic World has been revealed as the brand marque for the Marina d’Or relaunch. This marks a bold new chapter for the destination and its visitors.

Beyond the three hotels undergoing renovation, the complex will include Magic Inn Hotel, offering three star accommodation near the beach. A five star spa hotel will be introduced in the second phase, elevating the overall resort experience.

The most attractive and modern holiday village

Magic World promises visitors a fully renovated, more appealing and contemporary tourism facility. The plan envisions a large family-friendly complex built around the best features of Magic Costa Blanca and Grupo Fuertes. Expect excitement and relaxation, with pioneering elements and experiences such as expansive water parks, sports simulators, and entertainment venues equipped with state of the art technologies.

Magic Sports Hotel will deliver a groundbreaking sports-themed stay with a water park. The four-star property will showcase rooms and decor inspired by football, basketball, tennis, and Formula 1, along with a new Magic Sports Water Park of about 7,000 square meters. Attractions include a towering water slide and a surfing simulator.

Magic Games Hotel will be a leader in family entertainment focused on video games and monthly gaming events. Rooms and facilities will feature arcade games, modern consoles, board games, and access to a large video game room for family play. The approach blends interactive entertainment with next generation gameplay and traditional games for a broad appeal.

Magic Fantasy Hotel will be a four-star property with themed rooms and venues inspired by stories and characters from Magic World, such as the unicorn Rouge and the wizard Magbit, creating a whimsical atmosphere for families and fans of magical tales.

The official launch of Magic World is planned at the Fitur fair on January 24. The complex will include three avant-garde water parks exceeding 25,000 square meters each, along with entertainment zones, gaming hubs, and recreation areas designed for guests of all ages.

These developments aim to increase year-round visitation, broaden the month-to-month occupancy, and strengthen the local economy by drawing in families from Canada, the United States, and other markets seeking immersive, themed holiday experiences. The project emphasizes comfort, safety, and memorable moments that families can share together. [CITATION: Press materials from the project owners and organizers]
