Details about the new incentives Marina d’Or will offer in the future are gradually being learned, after the acquisition of the hotel and entertainment complex by the Magic and Fuertes group. The goal set by the new managers is to place Marina d’Or among the premier tourist complexes in Europe. To achieve this, they plan to attract foreign visitors, especially from the United Kingdom, and have launched a 40 million euro investment to reshape the hotels and create new attractions.

Among the areas set for change in this new phase is the improvement of water features. “Following the start of preliminary work a few days ago, Fuertes and Magic Group Costa Blanca I confirmed this expansion and renewal of water areas as a core pillar of modernization for Marina d’Or,” they stated.

A new complex will feature three avant-garde water parks with modern attractions equipped with the latest technology. The parks will host themed water slides, dedicated children’s play zones, sports simulators, and special areas, with integrated bar service inside the pools and places to relax.

Water attractions in the new Marina d’Or will be divided into three parks spanning roughly 25,000 square meters. The parks are named Spell Sports Water Park, Magic Splash Adventure, and Magic Polynesia.

National and international visitors will find in the new Marina d’Or a top water attraction within a resort in Spain.

three parks

A water park will anchor the new Marina d’Or experience: Magic Sports Water Park, covering about 7,000 square meters, will showcase a high tower of sport-inspired slides reminiscent of Formula 1, bobsled, and karting. The park will also feature a large play area for younger guests with surfing-themed decorations, a Swim Bar for drinks, poolside services, and VIP seating.

A key innovation of the Sports Water Park is a modern surf simulator that enables safe wave riding through cutting-edge technology.

Magic Jump Adventure will occupy about 9,000 square meters and feature an imposing tower with a vertigo slide offering multiple lanes for up to four riders, along with elements like a bowl, kamikaze, and pendulum-type slides. Family-friendly attractions such as a family boat ride, dining zones, and VIP areas will be included.

Finally, Magic Polynesia covers more than 10,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, with attractions for all ages. Expect dizzying slides like Fast Track, Los Rápidos, and Torbellino, alongside gentler experiences such as a slow river and a pirate-ship area, plus jump zones designed for younger children.

The water attractions are intended to become flagship features of the new direction for the Oropesa tourist complex. A commitment to expansive pool areas and slides marks the resorts, delivering adrenaline, entertainment, and relaxation for the entire family. The Costa Blanca experience remains at the heart of the plan, with the new leadership bringing decades of sector experience to the project.
