In Madrid, a court recently handled a case involving a British citizen with a prior criminal record who allegedly forged documents to obtain work as a teacher in Spain. Prosecutors alleged that the individual recorded nude images of minors and shared the material on pedophile forums.
The Madrid Prosecutor’s Office filed requests related to the case, noting that the defendant faced a potential prison term of up to 220 years for multiple offenses. Allegations included child pornography, degrading treatment, revealing confidential information, and forgery of official documents.
The defendant had previously been convicted of child pornography in the United Kingdom and worked as a caregiver for a family from August 2016 to September 2017. During that period, the person reportedly taught English to the family’s three children.
During the time the defendant lived in the family home, authorities assert that the individual abused duties as a caregiver to gratify sexual impulses. Investigators say numerous photos and videos were taken of minors in locations such as a swimming pool, a bathroom, and other areas of the home, with two girls appearing nude in some images.
On another occasion, the defendant allegedly photographed a minor appearing naked, using the presence of a friend of the minor at the residence to facilitate the activity.
He also had employment at a school in Madrid
Later, the defendant relocated to Madrid and provided care for another family in their home from 12:30 to 14:30 between September 18 and December 19, 2017. Responsibilities included picking up the children from school, feeding them, and speaking to them in English while the parents were away. Prosecutors say the defendant exploited a position of trust to take additional nude images of one of the minors.
Between January 2018 and July 2019, the individual reportedly worked as a teacher at a Madrid school, often alone with minors. Investigators allege that the person recorded videos and photographs focusing on undergarments and, at times, used a camera positioned under a skirt.
During part of that period, a 48-second video was produced in which two images of a minor were visible and the footage allegedly included a close-up depiction of the individual’s genitalia. Some of this material is said to have been distributed by a user identified as Littlegirlsex on a pedophile forum, triggering a police probe.
Subsequently, the defendant allegedly presented a copy of an Israeli passport and an official credential on behalf of a company or entity prior to January 2018 in an attempt to secure employment as a native English-speaking assistant teacher at a school. The forgery is said to have affected key elements such as the identity of the owner, including surname changes and alterations to machine-readable fields and stamp imagery created by inserting a padding character.
Authorities continue to review the evidence surrounding the forged documents and the alleged distribution of illicit material, with prosecutors detailing the potential impact on the safety and well-being of the children involved. The case underscores ongoing concerns about the exploitation of minors and the serious consequences for those found responsible, as the judicial process proceeds under applicable Spanish law and international cooperation agreements.
