Led Cone: Connected Road Work Cone Passes DGT and Mitma Tests

The Led Cone, a signaling cone manufactured by Alcoy-based Erum, has successfully passed tests conducted by the Directorates General of Highways under the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (Mitma) through its Road Safety Unit, as well as by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT). Both institutions carried out operability simulations of the Led Cone, replicating typical maintenance operations and evaluating aspects of the cone and its performance, including geolocation accuracy. According to Erum, the Led Cone marks the first connected cone to achieve a resounding success in pilot trials that verify connectivity to the DGT 3.0 platform and the lighting requirements set by the Directorate General of Highways.
