DFSK ix5 Debuts in Russia with Two Engine Options and Premium Features

The DFSK ix5 coupe-crossover was unveiled in Russia, as announced by the official distributor Motorinvest.

The model measures 4685 mm in length, 1865 mm in width, and features a wheelbase of 2790 mm. Power is available from a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivering 137 horsepower, paired with a refined setup for efficient everyday driving. A more potent option is a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 231 horsepower, mated to a traditional hydromechanical automatic transmission for smooth, predictable performance.

In Russia, sales will begin with the Premium configuration, offering a balanced mix of comfort and safety. Highlights include a tilt-and-reach adjustable steering column, four airbags, ABS and EBD, electronic stability and traction control, keyless entry, a power liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

The higher-end Deluxe variant is planned for later availability. It is expected to add features such as forward collision warning, lane-keeping assistance, an all-round vision system, and front and rear parking sensors. At this stage, official pricing for the ix5 has not been released.

In related news, Jetour Traveler in China has reportedly introduced a new Silver Dragon Wings variant designed for off-road use, equipped with a 254 hp turbodiesel engine, a 7-speed robotic transmission, and all-wheel drive.

Earlier updates noted that M-Hero SUVs had arrived at a warehouse facility in Russia, indicating ongoing activity in the regional automotive market.
