Latin Kings Network Targets Madrid and Galicia, Fifteen Arrested

Civil Guards arrested fifteen individuals connected to the Latin Kings gang in a Tuesday operation that stretched across the Community of Madrid and the region of Galicia. The action, still in progress, emerged from ongoing investigations by Prensa Ibérica’s research team and law enforcement sources, who described it as a sweeping disruption of the organization in the country. Among the detainees is a founder and current leader of the Spain faction, Eric Velastegui, who goes by the nickname El Padrino. Velastegui is already serving a prison sentence for the rape of a young woman in Madrid, a case that years ago drew heavy media attention.
