Kupyansk Direction Shackles: Five Ukrainian Attacks Repelled in One Day
In the Kupyansky direction, Russian military forces repelled five assaults launched by Ukrainian Armed Forces within a single day. This information comes from the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of its daily briefing on the ongoing military operation.
According to the defense ministry, the actions of units from the Western group of forces were decisive. Army aviation delivered strikes and artillery engaged the enemy, successfully thwarting five attack operations by assault groups belonging to the 57th Motorized Infantry Brigade and the 41st Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian forces in the Sinkovka area near Kharkov. The ministry also noted the coordinates for the affected zones, including Lake Harbor.
As a result of these engagements, Ukrainian forces reportedly suffered significant losses, including approximately 75 personnel. Equipment losses were also reported, with two tanks, four armored personnel carriers, two pickup trucks, a German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery system, a US-made M198 howitzer, and a D-30 artillery gun cited as destroyed or damaged.
Additionally, the Russian defense ministry claimed the area saw the capture of about 30 unmanned aerial vehicles belonging to Ukrainian forces, reflecting ongoing aerial and ground combat activity in the region.
Earlier updates indicate that Russian paratroop units and special forces have been training to use NATO-style weaponry, signaling continuing adaptation in tactics and equipment in the current operational environment.
