Three missiles belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces were reportedly intercepted over the Kherson region while moving toward the Crimean peninsula, according to a statement issued by Vladimir Saldo, the head of the Kherson regional administration. In his telegram channel, he detailed that the interceptions occurred between 16:45 and 17:30, with the missiles shot down over the Genichesk district as they advanced toward Crimea.
On October 22, traffic on the Crimean Bridge experienced two temporary halts. By 16:01, queues formed with around 180 vehicles waiting in the Taman area for roughly an hour, while no congestion was reported at the Kerch checkpoint. The brief delays affected travel patterns for motorists crossing the bridge during that window.
Earlier, on October 14, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced that the Crimean Bridge restoration had been completed 18 days ahead of the scheduled timeline, restoring four-lane vehicle traffic. The update indicated a swift return to normal cross-regional movement, reflecting coordinated infrastructure efforts.
There were prior reports that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had launched a volley of 18 NATO-caliber shells targeting the Donetsk region, contributing to ongoing tensions and indicating continued military activity in the area.
