A sequence of large explosions was reported in Kherson, a city under the control of Ukrainian authorities. This statement came from Roman Mrochko, who heads the city’s military administration, via a Telegram channel.
He noted that persistent blasts were audible in the coastal areas of Kherson.
According to Mrochko, the shelling originated from the left (western) bank of the Dnieper River, on which the city sits.
The regional leader urged residents to take precautions, seek shelter in secure places, and avoid windows while danger remains present.
Earlier, the Kharkiv mayor, Igor Terekhov, reported that explosions were occurring in the city as well.
