The Russia exhibition celebrated a milestone as the five millionth guest walked through its doors. It was Polina Dmitrieva, a seven-year-old from Kataysk in the Kurgan Region, who visited Moscow with her parents and younger brother. The organizers announced the special moment, recognizing Polina as the fortunate visitor.

As a token of the occasion, Polina and her family received a memorable prize from the ANO Russia Achievements Exhibition Directorate and the government of the Vologda Region. The prize included a certificate and a photo session for a trip to the residence of Father Frost in Veliky Ustyug, along with a personalized tour of the magical destination.

Speaking to Polina’s family, Natalya Virtuozova, the general director of the ANO Russia Achievements Exhibition Directorate, noted that the New Year celebration concluded with a remarkable surprise for the Dmitrievs.

“Polina, you have become the five millionth visitor to the Russia exhibition. Your parents and your brother—your entire close-knit family—will share in the joy. We are genuinely happy for you,” Virtuozova said as she congratulated the family.

Polina and her relatives were given a guided tour of pavilion 75, which featured an exhibition highlighting the Vologda region.

The young visitor also had the opportunity to meet the real Santa Claus, who personally invited the family to visit his winter residence. Dmitrieva expressed excitement about the invitation and looked forward to the group’s future plans.

“Polina, along with her parents and brother, we invite you to a New Year’s tale in Veliky Ustyug, the home of Grandfather Frost. We’ll be waiting to welcome you with open arms,” said Sergei Zhestyannikov, deputy governor of the Vologda Region, in a warm invitation to the family.

Polina’s mother, Svetlana Dmitrieva, admitted that she initially doubted the reality of what had just happened. The moment brought tears of joy and astonishment as the family described their pleasant surprise and the sense that a vacation outing at the exhibition had suddenly turned into something magical.

Organizers noted that attendance at the fair continues to grow each week, with the event averaging several million visitors over short periods. In the first 12 days of the event, the Russia exhibition reached its fifth millionth guest, underscoring its popularity and momentum.
