When faced with these findings, Aránzazu Palomino denied any involvement in her aunt’s death, proposing instead that poisoning could have arisen from compromised food or medications. He contended that Palomino had been caring for Isabel during her stay in Madrid, noting that the two shared a close relationship. Actor Louis Lorenzo, for his part, exercised his right not to testify during the proceedings.
