The adviser noted that while some images have undergone expert review, they do not appear to originate from Iran, and Tehran continues to await solid documentation from Kyiv as talks proceed. There is renewed push for a second round of discussions, with a four-month gap during which no submissions arrived, according to the ministry. Ukraine’s team has said a response will come within two weeks, but Tehran reports nothing concrete has materialized.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken described military technical cooperation between Iran and Russia as a serious concern for both the United States and Israel. He indicated that Tehran is not the only party involved in supplying Russia with advanced equipment, with Moscow reportedly assisting Iran across several military domains as well.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheparova urged the United Nations to oversee a formal inquiry into alleged Iranian drone deliveries to Russia, framing the issue as one requiring independent verification. The appeal follows prior remarks from Western officials about the possibility of Iranian equipment contributing to the Ukraine conflict.
