The Institute for Seniors and Social Services, part of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda, announced that the IMSERSO Social Tourism Program would begin marketing on Monday, September 23. Accredited preferred travelers can begin booking their trips that day, while non-preferred travelers would have to wait until September 24.
According to information provided by the Institute for Seniors via its website, before September 23, 2024, those accredited to participate in the trips will have received at their homes an accreditation letter. The letter specifies the day in September 2024 when booking for the 2024-2025 tourism season will open.
Within the accreditation letter, a four-digit code is included that allows the holder to make online reservations through the central reservations office of the contracted companies. If reservations are made at partner travel agencies, it is sufficient to bring the national identity document.
Reservations can be made from 9:00 a.m. on the day indicated in the accreditation letter, following a schedule that for residents of the Valencian Community will be September 23 for preferred accreditations and September 24 for non-preferred. Starting Saturday, September 28, 2024, there will be an opening to reserve trips that have not yet been marketed in any province.
