General de Alquiler de Maquinaria (GAM), a multinational based in Asturias, posted a remarkable leap in profitability for 2022. Net earnings surged to 8 million euros, up from 2.7 million the prior year, while sales grew by one third, signaling strong demand across its rental platforms. The gross operating result known as EBITDA rose by 32% to 58 million euros, and the operating result, EBITD, climbed by 46% to 17 million euros, with an 8% uplift in revenue. The company also managed to trim its debt burden, reducing the debt ratio to 3.4 times EBITDA from 3.7 times, highlighting improving balance sheet strength amid expansion.
