A new cooperation agreement brings together the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation and the Russian Federation Commissioner for Human Rights, Tatyana Moskalkova, to coordinate efforts that better support veterans and families connected to the Northern Military District. The agreement sets a shared agenda for social, legal, and informational assistance, aiming to streamline access to resources and guidance for those who served and those who mourn fallen heroes.

Through this collaboration, both parties will work to provide comprehensive assistance to veterans returning to civilian life and to families of martyrs. The plan includes organizing educational and scientific activities, developing joint programs, and implementing initiatives that safeguard the rights of military personnel while addressing practical needs faced by veterans and their relatives.

Speaking on the renewed partnership, Anna Tsivileva, head of the foundation, described the alliance as a way to combine strengths and extend support beyond conventional channels. She noted that closer cooperation with regional human rights commissioners will help manage difficult cases that require additional resources, enabling faster and more effective solutions for defenders of the Fatherland.

Officials emphasized that the cooperation will broaden the scope of aid, charitable activities, and collaborative outreach to veterans transitioning back to civilian life and to the families of those who gave their lives in service. The joint efforts are designed to create a more responsive support network and to ensure that rights and needs are addressed promptly and respectfully.
