The head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, dismissed Deputy Minister of Digital Development Dmitry Kim from his post. This development was reported by TASS.
Upon his request, Dmitry Matveyevich Kim was removed from the role of Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, according to the official message.
Earlier, the Russian government submitted to the State Duma a draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period for 2025 and 2026. The bill was sent in a fully electronic format for the first time, and the order to introduce it was signed by Prime Minister Mishustin.
The draft budget rests on the baseline scenario of the socio economic development forecast, signaling an expectation of solid economic growth exceeding 2 percent in 2024.
According to the draft budget, revenues are projected at 35 trillion rubles for 2024, 33.5 trillion for 2025, and 34.1 trillion for 2026. Expenditures are anticipated to be 36.6 trillion rubles in 2024, 34.4 trillion in 2025, and 35.6 trillion in 2026. The plan includes allocating 4.4 trillion rubles to unified benefits for families with children, 482 billion rubles to improve housing supply, and an additional 1.6 trillion rubles to maternity capital payments.
Earlier explanations in Russia highlighted the sharp rise in budget revenues and expenses over the coming three years, outlining a path toward broader fiscal goals.
