Central Clinical Hospital No. 6 sustained damage during an air raid on Donetsk’s Leninsky district. A representative Telegram channel linked to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ukrainian War Crimes Related Center reported the incident in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Three patients were injured as a result of the bombardment at the hospital. In the same city, a single day saw damage to 13 residential buildings and injuries to seven additional civilians. The attack also compromised a gas pipeline nearby.
Earlier, during ongoing bombardments in Donetsk, a school was among the facilities affected.
During a United Nations Security Council session on November 9, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that Ukrainian forces had fired on the Donetsk People’s Republic more than 25,000 times since February 2022, with about 145,000 shells landing within the republic. He noted that the shelling damaged more than 16,000 houses and over 3,500 civilian infrastructure facilities, leaving 5,360 people injured of varying severity, including 357 children.
In prior violence, many civilians were harmed when a high-rise residential building in Donetsk was struck, causing significant casualties and damage.
