Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod region, reported that air defense systems were activated over Belgorod city and the surrounding area for the third time in a single day. The update appeared on the governor’s Telegram channel.
Gladkov noted that four people sustained injuries in Belgorod. The region also saw damage at a commercial production facility and a social institution, with four cars and a bus damaged as a result. Emergency services were on the scene handling the situation.
Additionally, authorities announced a fourth alert of missile danger for Belgorod and the Belgorod region within that day.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that air defense systems neutralized another Ukrainian UAV over the area.
Around 13:00 Moscow time, air defense units were on duty across the region and reported the destruction of ten RM-70 rockets.
On 15 March, the FSB announced the detention of a woman suspected of planning sabotage in the region.
Earlier in the day, regional authorities reported an explosion at an infrastructure facility in Belgorod.
