They already had their small rituals and quirks. Arkano had to dive from a helicopter in Survivors, and it appears the harmony between the Alicante rapper and Jorge Javier Vázquez is finding a steady beat again.
In truth, the host doesn’t miss a chance to toss a barb at most of the male contestants in this edition, though it’s clear his favorite might be firefighter Rubén. Yet there’s something distinctive about Arkano that lingers with the audience.
When Alicante was chosen for nomination, the Catalan star leaned into the moment with a wink: “We were alone, Arkanpalapa, fire, you, me…” Arkano replied, “I love this moment, Jorge.”
That’s when the host pressed for a rap dedicated to him and—naturally— referenced his attire in white. Arkano began with a nod to his roots, “First of all, a kiss from Alicante to my people…” and then kept the flow going. Jorge Javier wasn’t satisfied with the opening and cut it short, saying, “We will erase from Alicante what happened to my people. I want you to rap to me, to me, to me, to me, to me.”
Professional and composed, Arkano pressed on: “Jorge, you seem in a hurry. Let’s speak frankly. Let’s see if you’ll hit the target quickly. You’re dressed in white. I know I’m in love with you.”
He added with a sly smile that it was more powerful when it was kept in place. The crowd erupted in applause as Arkano explained his approach: “I wanted to start with Alicante and then turn to our own business.”
“I love Alicante.” “I did not succeed at the Theater Manager in Alicante,” Jorge mused, alluding to a past theater tour across Spain a few years back.
Arkano’s candidacy and a message for his girlfriend
When it was finally Arkano’s turn to nominate, the man from Alicante wrote down Aurah’s name. He clarified that the Canary Islander “is the source of most of the friction here, and despite her health issues, she hasn’t fully contributed to the group or learned to survive together.”
Arkano did not miss the chance to send a warm personal note. Alazne Aurrekoetxea appears to be his partner again. The rapper revealed that their relationship had fractured in July of the previous year after they had announced their couple status in 2022. On the nomination paper, he penned “Alaz AMZ” beside Aurah’s name with a heart symbol.
It seems the couple is back together, though the Alicante native remained silent on social media about Survivors. He did comment on Aurah’s photos on Instagram, however.
The athlete documented the helicopter jump, describing it as stylish and inviting followers to savor the moment. In another post, he encouraged everyone to seize the unique experience, noting, “Let’s leave everything to txapeldun. I will be waiting here with endless desire.” The rapper replied with a simple, heartfelt, “I love you. It’ll happen faster than you think, you’ll see. AMZ.”
Throughout the exchange, the show’s dynamic remained a mix of bravado, affection, and strategic gameplay, all unfolding before a public that loves the tension and the sentiment alike. The back-and-forth between Arkano and Jorge Javier added another layer to a season already notable for its blend of humor, drama, and candid moments that resonate with audiences across North America who follow international reality competition formats.
