Alicante Trade Fair Authority (IFA) reveals a packed lineup of twelve trade fairs scheduled from September through December, marking a busy stretch as the year winds down. The season opens in September with Alicante Gastronómica and closes in December with Exponadal, a flagship event that could not be staged the prior year due to the resurgence of covid cases during the autumn revival.

As summer fades, IFA reopens its doors for what promises to be the strongest edition of Gastronomic Alicante. The event runs from September 23 to 26 and will showcase a total of 36,000 square meters spread across two exhibition halls. More than 250 exhibitors will participate, and two main stages will host presentations, hands-on workshops, and showcooking demonstrations that highlight regional cuisine and culinary innovation.

October intensifies the calendar with five specialized fairs spanning diverse sectors. Futurmoda will gather thousands of professionals on October 5 and 6 to explore the autumn/winter trends in the footwear components industry. On the 15th and 16th, enthusiasts of video games, comics, movies, and television can look forward to the seventh edition of Video Game Comic, a celebration of pop culture and digital entertainment.

Firahogar and Firamaco will run concurrently from October 21 to 23, delivering synergies and practical solutions for furniture, home decoration, building materials, reform and rehabilitation, and energy conservation. In addition, from October 22 to 23, Kids & Co will present essential products and services designed to support families and new parents, making daily life easier for the youngest members of households.

November brings four events to the IFA calendar. From November 4 to 6, Firanovios will feature a traditional wedding dress and communion fashion show, while Expofiesta brings together the festival industry during the same weekend. The Alicante International Tattoo Convention will take place from November 11 to 13, attracting artists and enthusiasts from across the region. The province’s largest motor fair, Firauto, runs from November 18 to 20, complemented by Expocar’s used-vehicle offers and Sobre2ruedas’ motorcycle promotions, creating a comprehensive hub for automotive enthusiasts.

December kicks off with Expomascotas on the 3rd and 4th, drawing nearly 3,500 dogs from 250 breeds for national and international canine shows. The season concludes with Exponadal, held from December 26 to January 4, a festive fair that adds a holiday spark to Alicante’s trade fair calendar. Last year’s disruptions caused by covid made this finale particularly anticipated, underscoring the return of live exhibitions and the city’s dedication to hosting comprehensive industry gatherings.
