In Krasnoyarsk, a volleyball coach hit primary school students with a stick during class. This was reported by TVKIt refers to a conversation with the mother of one of the victims.
According to the woman’s statement, the incident took place in school number 159 in mid-February. The parent didn’t immediately notice the scrapes on his second-grade son’s leg, but the boy eventually admitted that the coach had hit him.
“It shocked me. It turned out that his son was running and playing ball with another child before training. Coach said get in line but the kids didn’t hear. He then took the children out into the hallway and hit them both several times with the stick. “It was some kind of sports equipment,” the woman says.
He decided to speak to the second victim’s parents to give a statement to the police together, but they did not want to do so. Later, the woman applied to law enforcement on her own, and her child’s statement was taken and the assaults were recorded. The boy’s father recorded a personal conversation with the coach and said the coach beat the student because he “didn’t understand differently.”
“Your son is behaving very obnoxious, playing, not listening. When I tell him to line up, he starts running and chasing after me. There is no other way to calm down. After that, he had a great time at the whole training, he was a great guy,” the volleyball coach said to his parent.
Currently, an internal audit is being carried out at the school, but the teacher who raised his hand to the students still continues to work at the educational institution and coaches at the Yenisey volleyball sports school. The police have not yet made a statement about the incident.
