Representatives of the Shiite militant organization Iraqi Islamic Resistance announced an attack on the US base in Tanf in Syria. This was reported by TASS Referring to the movement’s social networks.
According to the statement, the attack on American targets in Syria was a reaction to Israel’s actions against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as part of general efforts to counter the American occupation in Iraq and surrounding regions of the Middle East.
It is unknown what kind of blow was struck. The Al-Tanf base is located in the refugee camp of the same name in southeast Syria – the American military is illegally on the territory of the Arab Republic, without the instructions of the UN and without the invitation of the internationally recognized authorities of Syria.
