Summary:
1977. 18-year-old Sandra is an actress in Transitional Spain, at a time when being young and beautiful inevitably led you to make revelatory films. However, Sandra aspires to be a serious and important actress and is aware that she has a difficult road ahead of her to do so. On a hot August afternoon, alone and distressed by an unwanted pregnancy, she tries to decide her future amid unexpected travel plans and her desire to become a great actress. Interviews with the gossip press are interspersed with unexpected visits, some as comforting as those of his best friend, others that bring veiled threats. Sandra hopes that he will call her and tell her that they can have their children and a future together. The night wears on and reality couldn’t be more different. Sandra becomes increasingly confused by the pressure, pills and alcohol. There are very few exits on that floor and she just wants to go out onto the terrace and breathe in the night air.
