Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin recommended that officials of the relevant ministries together with deputies conduct raids on “nalivayki” during the regional week. In this respect RIA News State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev said:
“The speaker recommended that the relevant ministry officials, together with the MPs, go there, to the courtyards, for district weeks and get informed about the problem there. Thus, there is no question mark about the importance of the issue,” said Khamzaev.
Volodin noted at the plenary session that “nalivayki” are a problem that is “sprouting” in all microdistricts and residential buildings. He called for making sure there was no “drinking” involved.
“It is imperative to conduct a full dialogue with the government, to persuade those who take a different position to invite them to consider this issue in the State Duma,” the State Duma spokesman said.
He also noted that perhaps by visiting such “nalivayki” many government officials will take a different position, which will be closer to society.
On November 20, regional week will begin in the State Duma.
14 November Volodin statedHe said that the State Duma will consider as a priority a bill aimed at preventing the production and trade of low-quality alcoholic products and banning the operation of “nalivok” bars at night.
