Russians have learned to understand eco-labels

Almost half of Russians (49%) know what eco-labels are and why they are needed. This is demonstrated by the SYNERGETIC study, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

The other 30% are superficially familiar with the term but do not understand the details; The remaining 20% ​​have never heard of this term. The survey was timed to coincide with World Ecolabelling Day, which is celebrated on October 12 this year.

The most famous among the respondents was the Russian brand “Leaf of Life”: 75% of Russians know about it. In second place is British ethical label Vegan Society; half of those surveyed know this (51%). In third place in terms of popularity is the Italian label ICEA, one in three people are familiar with it (36%).

At the same time, almost one in three Russians pay attention to eco-labels when purchasing products for children (30%), as well as when purchasing household chemicals (38%) and skin care cosmetics (37%).
