New earthquake in the community’s tourism sector: Marina d’Or changes hands again. Only four years after his previous transfer, the keys to the complex in Orpesa’s Castellón municipality will be handed over to its new owner. And indeed, for the first time in history, Valencia will own the Marina d’Or. Magic Costa Blanca appears on the Castellón scene after making a name for himself. One of the biggest chains in the tourism industry in an arena as competitive as Benidorm. Currently, it is one of the most important players in the tourism of the city.

It is a family business born in Benidorm, founded and managed by Francisco García. His son, Javier García, is in charge of the group’s day-to-day operations with the rank of vice president. The Garcia family has experience in many of the types of businesses that exist in Marina d’Or today, from hotels to water parks to other forms of entertainment. The latter was its first expansion beyond the borders of Alicante.
