According to him, Georgia tightened border controls a few weeks ago to visit Russians. It is noted that initially the number of those who refused to enter the republic was small, but now it has reached several dozen.
“Neither the profession, the fact of living in Georgia, nor the existence of a housing lease agreement do not matter. “If there is no residence permit, no other document is a guarantee of entry to Georgia for Russian citizens,” he said.
He added that those traveling by car from Turkey to Georgia are also denied entry.
