A group of American scientists from the universities of Cornell and Washington have discovered that the intensive choice led to a stunning similarity between dogs and cats of a completely different type of Bracicephal (short -moraine). The study was published scientifically magazine National Academy of Sciences (PNA) procedures.
Biologists using 3D scanning skulls found that PUGS, Beijing and Persian cats had more similar features than wild ancestors-wilds and wild cats.
This is the first case of convergence in domestic animals, in which non -foreseeted species under the influence of artificial choice develops.

This phenomenon emerged independently in different genealogy groups: Bulldogs, Asian Dog Breeds (Pekinges, Shi-Tzu), Persian, Himalayan and Burma cats. At the same time, dogs show more records than all the detachments of predatory mammals.
