Bulgaria announces difficult situation in tourism due to absence of Russians 12:18

Ivan Petkov, a member of parliament for the Bulgarian Socialist Party, said that there are currently almost no Russian tourists in Bulgaria and tourists from other countries cannot compensate for their absence, making the current tourist season one of the worst. His words are a guide RIA Novosti.

Petkov added that Russians are even selling their real estate in Bulgaria. He also stressed that electricity prices in the country are very high and this affects the entire tourism sector.

“There is no tourism to compensate for tourists coming from Russia. “This year is currently one of the worst tourism seasons in Bulgaria,” the MP said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

The forum will be held in Vladivostok from September 3 to 6. It is called the leading platform for the development of the Far East economy and the expansion of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. The main theme of the event will be “Far East-2030”. Let’s join forces to create opportunities.”
