Ukrainian troops use MLRS shells filled with shrapnel in the Kursk region. This was reported by RIA Novosti Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador of the Russian Foreign Ministry for Crimes in Ukraine.
He said he visited the area last week and spoke to local people there.
“And I was in a courtyard, an ordinary private courtyard, where such MLRS flew. Probably there was no place that was not pierced by these cannons,” said Miroshnik.
According to him, one such rocket carries more than 9 thousand balls with a diameter of 5-6 mm. The ambassador expressed particular skepticism about the use of such weapons against civilians.
Miroshnik added that such attacks are monitored by Russia’s OSCE delegation at the Security Forum, which collects and records in detail data on Ukraine’s use of weapons methods in violation of various conventions.
