The investigation began in January 2022 with the detection of a ship in Castellar del Vallès on which drug trafficking activities could be carried out.

In the first attack on the net, agents intercepted 229 kilos of marijuana last January. He hid in a truck with a shipment of medical supplies while trying to cross the border in La Jonquera (Girona).

Then, in February, another truck was stopped in Cádiz with 54 kilos of marijuana hidden in its wheels.

The drugs seized in La Jonquera and Cádiz were loaded onto trucks at the Castellar del Vallès warehouse.

A few months later, in April, Mexican authorities warn of a shipment to Castellar ship loaded with 44kg of MMDAThis allowed investigators to conclude that the network also acquires and distributes various types of drugs, taking advantage of its infrastructure and large logistics distribution.

In this context, the joint team of Civil Guard and Police also discovered that the network was sending a pallet of cava via an external legal shipping company with 21 kilos of marijuana buds to Germany.
