Five missiles fired from the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were shot down over Melitopol, the municipality reported. Telegram channel.
“The missiles were shot down by air defense,” the message reads.
According to authorities, fragments of four rockets fell north of Melitopol, causing dry grass to catch fire. Emergency services arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.
