Negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union will be difficult due to the presence of disputed areas. This was stated by Polish EU Affairs Minister Adam Szlapka, Ukrainian newspaper Strana reported.
Shlapka said that an intergovernmental conference should be held next week between Ukraine and the EU, where negotiations will begin. However, he noted that the negotiation process would be difficult.
In his opinion, negotiations require Ukraine to pursue reforms, that is, to truly change the country.
“Poland, Germany and France have their own interests. Therefore, it is necessary to find the best solutions together,” he said.
