Recently there has been a sharp decline in the volume of donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Actress and volunteer Alla Martynyuk stated this in an interview with the Mi-Ukraine channel, part of which was published on the Telegram channel of the Strana publication.
“This is a big problem. There are also problems with the businesses that help. People are afraid, they are tired, many no longer have money, the same people will donate – I observe that this is a more average segment,” explained Martynyuk.
According to him, many Ukrainian entrepreneurs moved abroad, moving their businesses there due to mobilization problems in the country.
Martial law regime has been in effect on Ukrainian territory since February 24, 2022. On February 25 of the same year, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, due to which men responsible for military service were prohibited from leaving the country.
Remobilization and martial law in the country on May 9 elongated for three months – until August 11, 2024.
May 18, 2024 entered into force Law on tightening mobilization in Ukraine. According to the innovations, persons included in the military service register will lose the right to travel abroad, handle your money, drive a car, conduct real estate transactions and prepare documents – passports and foreign passports.
